Any tips on getting your sex life back after finding out you have HPV?

I found out i have hpv while pregnant. I had my baby in October went back for my 6 weeks checkup hoping it would be gone but since i had a c section my pap was still abnormal. My boyfriend is furious. i understand. Everytime we have sex he gets a rash on his penis and it seems to get very dry and he says it burns. Is this normal for guys? I have no warts just the abnormal cells.Im so confused. please help. i need something to try and fix our sex life.

First of all i don't understand why he would be mad....unless he's not the one that gave it to you. Second, the rash does not sound like a reaction to the HPV, do you use condoms, lube, or anything else that he may be allergic to? And another thought is that you may just not be wet enough and the friction is giving him a rash, maybe try some lube or more foreplay.
